Hoge Veluwe National Park
National Park De Hoge Veluwe is located in the central part of the Netherlands. It is a unique natural area that is strictly protected by the state.
The founders of this park were spouses Mueller. They at the beginning of the last century from a small hunting area created a real reserve where bred mouflon and kangaroos.
Since then, the number of residents of the park De Hoge Veluwe has increased several times. Today, tourists walking around its vast territory, can actually see spotted deer, mouflon, squirrels, rabbits, martens, badgers and many other animals. Also in the park is the Kröller-Müller Museum , the walls of which kept an extensive collection of works by Van Gogh and other European artists.
The park is located between the cities of Arnhem , Ede and Apeldoorn . Entrance to the park fee. There are three entrances to the village Hunderloo , Otterlo and Shaarsbergen . Get to the park from Amsterdam via train, next to the city of Arnhem, there need to take a bus, which dovozit almost to the gates of the park.
